Ships on the Mersey at Liverpool, Nova ScotiaLiverpool, Nova Scotia, CanadaFounded in 1759, the early settlers to this Liverpool came from the communities of Nantucket and Cape Cod in Massachusetts, the first group arriving in June of 1760. This makes Liverpool the only location in Canada to be settled by descendents of Mayflower passengers.

This Liverpool is on the Atlantic coast and even has a River Mersey and a Liverpool Bay. There are districts named "Mount Pleasant" and "Mersey Point".
