Listen to the English based media and you might think that British people don't think much about Northern England's biggest city. However, in a survey carried-out by the hotel chain Travelodge, 5,500 Britons rated Liverpool highly. They were asked which UK city they most wanted to visit before they die. The results, published early 2010, featured cities renowned for their history, culture and architecture and Liverpool came in third place.
