West Derby Hundred was an ancient division of Lancashire in the south-west of the county, bordering with Leyland in the north and Salford in the east.
It comprised the following sub-divisions, all of which relate to modern place names in the Greater Liverpool area :- Altcar Aughton Childwall Halsall Huyton Leigh Liverpool Newton North Meols Ormskirk Prescot Sefton Walton Warrington Wigan Winwick
