Liverpool South Parkway is an integrated bus and train station using part of the site of the former Allerton station. The site of the old Allerton station now forms platforms 1 to 4 inclusive of the rail station which are on Merseyrail's "City Line" between West Allerton and Hunts Cross stations. Platforms 5 and 6 are to the south of the other platforms and are on Merseyrails "Northern Line" between Hunts Cross and Cressington stations.
