Court Hey is literally right on the edge of the City of Liverpool. The area actually straddles the border and is partly in the city (Childwall, L16) and partly in the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley.

The small area of Court Hey, now just south of the M62, was once the site of Vernons Pools. It also has Court Hey Park and previosuly was the home of the famous Gladstone Family.
