The original seacat was built in 1991 in Australia and was the world's first vehicle carrying catamaran. It has been known under a number of names since then. This photo shows it arriving at Liverpool's Pier Head from Douglas in 1999 when named "Seacat Isle of Man". The vessel is presently named "Snaefell" but from 2005 was known as "Sea Express 1".
