Station under construction near Hermann Park on January 19th, 2003. South of here the tracks run at the back of the Reliant Center at Kirby were construction of the overhead has already started.
Just north of the last view and alongside Hermann Park the tracks are all in place and block paving done. Overhead still to be installed.
Slightly further north again and looking toward downtown a switch has been installed and will soon be encased in concrete.
These are the tracks just south of South Fannin Road station showing the new depot in the background. On August 10th, 2003 the overhead looks to be fully installed here.
Again on August 10th, 2003, recently delivered car 102 is spotted being worked on in the depot just south of the South Fannin Road station.
On the right is the scene (intersection of Main and Gray) of Metro's first light rail accident while the system was still under test. At 8.30 p.m. on the evening of November 19th, 2003, Krista Marino who was driving a Jeep Cherokee made an illegal left turn and car 107 clipped the rear of her vehicle.
On Saturday, December 13th, 2003, Car 109 is spotted apparently travelling southbound on the northbound track on Greenbriar at Colannade near the Texas Medical Center.
